Swedish House Mafia – AKA Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell – stepped into the music scene in this formula in 2008. Born in Sweden, their success exploded when they released the single „One”, signed on Virgin Records. No other DJ in the electronic scene has not remained indifferent after first listening to this song, from Pete Tong to Erick Morillo, they all devoured this successful trio’s single.
Nicknamed „the supergroup”, Swedish House Mafia placed at number ten on the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ Poll 2011.
SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA can confirm they will release their second compilation album entitled “UNTIL NOW” on OCTOBER 22ND 2012. The album will form the official soundtrack to One Last Tour. The follow up to their double gold-selling mix album “UNTIL ONE” released on OCTOBER 22 nd 2010, the album will feature a unique collection of Swedes’ original tracks, remixes, exclusive collaborations, club favourites and solo productions.
“UNTIL NOW” highlights include the latest SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA single “Don’t You Worry Child” (feat John Martin) – release date October 7th – which was debuted to 65,000 people at the band’s recent UK farewell Milton Keynes Bowl show, the previously unreleased Coldplay Vs Swedish House Mafia “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall”, global club anthems “Calling” and “In My Mind”, Steve Angello and Third Party’s “Lights”, the Swedes exclusive remix of Usher’s “Euphoria” plus more previously unreleased tracks. Opening Act: Arty
Arty (born Artyom Stolyarov on September 28, 1989 in Engels) is a Russian trance DJ and producer.
In 2009, Arty released his first production at the age of 19. His EP Vanilla Sky appeared on the label Enhanced Progressive and brought him to the attention of several DJs. His single „Bliss” appeared on tracklisting of A State Of Trance with Armin van Buuren in early 2010 and his breakthrough came later that year when Above & Beyond signed him on their label Anjunabeats. They featured his singles Rush and The Wonder in their club sets and on their radio show Trance Around the World. In 2011 he released Zara, his third single on the Anjunabeats label.
In 2011 Arty collaborated with Mat Zo, another trance artist signed to Anjunabeats. Their first joint production Rebound was released on April, 19 2011 as the 200th single of Anjunabeats. The song was voted Webvote Winner on three straight occasions in the radio show Trance Around the World. At the anniversary party ASOT 500 of Armin van Buurens radio show A State of Trance on April, 9th 2011 in Den Bosch the two DJs played on the Main Floor along some well established DJs such as Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, and Armin himself.
Since 2011, Arty has a monthly residency on the radio show Anjunabeats Worldwide. On April, 11 2011, the compilation Anjunabeats Worldwide 03 was released, co-produced by him and Daniel Kandi.
In 2010, Arty reached position 78 in the Top 100 DJs election of DJ Magazine. At the International Dance Music Awards 2011 he was nominated in the category Best Break-Through DJ. However, the award went to Afrojack. Arty climbed 53 spots to position 25 on the „Top 100 DJs” list in 2011.
