The last time we had Juju & Jordash over we knew it wouldn’t be the last. Their completely improvised and electrifying live house sets are like homemade apricot confiture and very hot girls (on each other). For the purists, imagine Ak 47 hi hats with FM synthesis.
The duet have been releasing their first longplayer a couple of months ago, on Dekmantel, it’s called Techno Primitivism, a title that’s self explanatory. Classic drummachines running and pounding tight shifts in dirty night clubs. Thing is, they have many great records we urge you to seek out.
On vocals and e-gitarre wir haben Mister Dominik Von Senger, who has been keeping it deep for more than 30 years on stage, he was in the famous Phantom Band with Jaki Liebezeit of Can, in Dunkelziffer and The Unknown Cases. You should listen to these bands.
Dominik has some amazing records out, but the last 2 are on tastemaker label Golf Channel Records, they are the kind of songs you listen to for hours. Only on vinyl available.
So, basically it will be a jam, then a party set, some live singing, guitars, 808s, 909s, maybe some 727s, and a whoooole lot of synthesizers and delays.
The stuff that boydreams are made of,
see you before and after, Khidja
